This enables another key AmpKit feature: re-amping, where you can take a recording and re-record it using a completely different amp and pedal setup. Once you've made a recording, you can upload it to your computer, email it to a friend, or post it directly to SoundCloud. AmpKit has been highly optimized for the iOS platform. It operates on any iPhone, including the very first 2G model, as well as both second- and third-generation iPod touch devices.
AmpKit can support a dozen or more simultaneous pedals, depending on configuration. Latency is extremely low. AmpKit's user experience is just what you would expect from the makers of GuitarToolkit and TabToolkit: elegant, intuitive and responsive. At first I thought maybe my guitar wasn't grounded but no it was the app. I've had this app for a while. I paid for the whole package, all was well for a year, then they had a problem, and then they fixed it.
I use this on a regular basis. I use it all the time with an iPad or iPhone. I love the variety and the sounds are really good. A lot of warmth , good echo, delay etc. I love the app but the quality of your interface the thing between your phone and your guitar help make it sound even better. Buy the whole kit for about 40 bucks and you get everything. Used peavey interfaces are about 20 bucks and about 60 for an HD model.
